My name is Cesare Zanfini and I come from a musicians family.  I started to study violin when I was 6 years old.  I attended my diploma in 2011 at "G. Verdi" Milan Conservatory under the guidance of Fulvio Luciani. 

Between 2010 and 2012 I studied in Vienna (MDW) and Salzburg under the guidance of Michael Frischenschlager and Dora Schwarzberg.

In 2014 I attended the Chamber Music Master at the "G. Verdi" Conservatory and, in 2017, I attende the Master in Performing Arts at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance under the guidance of Lihay Bendayan. 

Since 2020 I'm studying viola. During 2020/2021 I attended the first year of Master in viola at the "G. Verdi" Milan Conservatory under the guidance of Pietro Mianiti and, in 2021/2022 I attended my first year of Master in viola at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance under the guidance of  Zvi Carmeli. 

Between 2012 and 2014 I've been Concertmaster of the Academy of Teatro alla Scala, between 2014 and 2015 I've been Concertmaster of the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra. 

In 2014 I've being invited to the audition for the Karajan Academy. 

Since I started the musical profession, I've being playing with different orchestras and ensembles in Italy and around the world (Europe, USA, South America, China, South Korea, Israel, Tunisia, Oman) as tutti player and soloist. 

I collaborate with Virtuosi della Scala, Cameristi della Scala, Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Israel Chamber Orchestra, Beer Sheva Sinfonietta, Mannheimer Philharmoniker and Interpreti Veneziani. 

I'm Assistant Professor of Sergei Bresler (Jerusalem Quartet) at the Jerusalem Music Center for the Goldman Program for Outstanding Musicians.
